چکیده
One of the most complex problems facing in tropical forests, particularly deciduous is recurrent incidence fire. It well known that fire caused extensive damage forest ecosystem by quantitatively and qualitatively. To reduce occurrences fire, proper management highly important which entails mapping frequency identification suitable area for watchtowers. In present study, analysis Melghat Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra was done last seven years (2014-2020) based on scar temporal Landsat data during season (January-June). Fire shows an 1053.64 ha (0.52%) reserve burned all followed 3050.53 (1.49%) six times, 3849.52 (1.88%) five 5520.04 (2.70%) four 11845.63 (5.80%) three 36863.52 (18.03%) two 70126.33 (34.31%) once 72093.02 (35.27%) remains unburned these years. The map generated used as input prioritizing locations watch towers grazing closure areas fires lines. Identification sites locating new watchtowers has been integrating modeling map, existing viewshed GIS. Based results only thirteen were categorized under retainable among 27 are proposed to cover entire area.

Investigation of forest fire hazard areas in Golestan province based on fire risk system index (FRSI) using the technique (GIS)
Abstract Fire in natural resources is one of the crises that causes irreparable damage to ecosystems and the environment every year. The purpose of this research is to attempt to study areas of risk aversion and to prepare a map of forest fire hazard area by integrating topographic data and other additional information from a GIS system for Golestan province. In order to carry out this resear...
متن کاملCharacterization and mapping of dwelling types for forest fire prevention
In a context of risk of forest fire, the development of actions concerning wildfire prevention and land management is necessary and essential particularly in wildland urban interfaces (WUI). The term ‘WUI’ always includes components such as human presence and wildland vegetation. Both the hazard (probability of fire outbreak, distribution) and the vulnerability of urban areas can be characteriz...
متن کاملA Spatio-Temporal Model for Forest Fire Detection Using HJ-IRS Satellite Data
Fire detection based on multi-temporal remote sensing data is an active research field. However, multi-temporal detection processes are usually complicated because of the spatial and temporal variability of remote sensing imagery. This paper presents a spatio-temporal model (STM) based forest fire detection method that uses multiple images of the inspected scene. In STM, the strong correlation ...
متن کاملA Data Mining Framework for Forest Fire Mapping
Forests are an important natural resource that support economic activity and play a significant role in regulating the climate and the carbon cycle, yet forest ecosystems are increasingly threatened by fires caused by a range of natural and anthropogenic factors. Mapping these fires, which can range in size from less than an acre to hundreds of thousands of acres, is an important task for suppo...
متن کاملIntegrated Spatio-temporal Data Mining for Forest Fire Prediction
Forests play a critical role in sustaining the human environment. Most forest fires not only destroy the natural environment and ecological balance, but also seriously threaten the security of life and property. The early discovery and forecasting of forest fires are both urgent and necessary for forest fire control. This article explores the possible applications of Spatio-temporal Data Mining...
